  2. Explain how it will be integrated into the daily routine at DHMS
  3. Share tips on how you can support this effort at home
  4. Answer any questions
Your involvement is key to the success of this initiative, and we look forward to your participation. Please feel free to reach out with any questions before the presentation.

Author Gordon Korman to Visit DHMS
Gordon Korman, author of over 100 books for middle schoolers, will be giving a presentation to DHMS 6th graders on September 19. He will be talking about his new book, Faker, as well as the new graphic novel versions of the 39 Clues series. He is brought to us courtesy of Little Shop of Stories, and students are encouraged to order a copy of one of his new books. Your orders help support this and future author visits. For our older Gordon Korman fans, 7th and 8th graders who purchase autographed copies of Korman's books will be invited to attend the presentation.
Gifted Education Information Night
Join the Gifted Department in the Division of Student Services for a Gifted Education Information Night. Sessions will be held online and begin at 6:00 PM on August 20. Please see the English and Spanish information flyers for the meeting link.
