We invite you to attend a conversation with our state legislators to discuss the upcoming session and issues that are likely to impact education. This event is sponsored by the Emory LaVista Parent Council (schools in the Lakeside and Druid Hills clusters) and Peachtree Gateway Council on Schools (schools in the Dunwoody, Chamblee and Cross Keys clusters). As in past years, we will ask each Legislator to speak for a few minutes and then invite Q&A from the audience. The Legislative Update will take place on Friday, January 25th at 9:00 am at Druid Hills Middle School (3100 Mount Olive Drive, Decatur, 30033). We will have refreshments and informal conversation at 9:00, then begin the program promptly at 9:15.
