Join the Druid Hills Chess Dragons

Whether you have never played chess or you are an experienced tournament player, you have a place at the Druid Hills Middle School Chess Club. Our main goal is to have fun as you improve your chess game! Come and learn a new game, play other enthusiasts, or prepare for tournament competitions.

Most of the club time will be spent playing chess. Each meeting might also contain a chess lesson and/or chess puzzles. You will have opportunities to learn new tactics and solve interesting puzzles as you play games against other players, including visiting coaches.

In addition to friendly play, the club encourages competitive play for players interested in attending local competitions and the regional tournament where Druid Hills Middle School will compete against other local schools. The cost for the entire year is $75.
